Hit From a Surface That Actually Feels Like The Course

Most golf mats punish your swing. They're either too stiff to practice honestly, too slippery to trust, or leave a green smear on your irons that makes you wonder what's really happening at impact. The Fairway Golf Mat was built to solve all three.

With a tight 3/8" Nylon face pile that mirrors a real fairway lie, the Fairway mat rewards crisp contact and gives you honest feedback on every shot — whether you're working on your full swing in the backyard, chipping in the garage, or hitting on a driving range tee line. Because the turf is Nylon, it won't leave green streaks on your clubs, won't stain, and holds up through seasons of practice without fading or breaking down.

The Right Mat for Hitting Off the Turf

The Fairway series is designed for golfers who want to hit directly off the mat surface, use rubber tees, or practice chips and pitches at close range. That tight, consistent lie is exactly what fairway-style contact practice demands. If you want to use real wooden tees instead, the Super Tee series is the better fit — but for pure ball-striking and chipping work, Fairway is the choice.

Choose Your Backing — Foam or Urethane

Fairway mats come in two backing options, and the right one depends on where and how you practice.

The 5mm Foam backing gives the mat a padded feel underfoot, adds meaningful weight to help keep the mat in place during your swing, and makes the whole thing rollable for storage. It's the preferred backing for smooth indoor surfaces like garage floors, basement slabs, gym floors, and indoor simulator setups where keeping the mat planted matters.

The 5/8 Foam closed-cell backing steps up the cushioning. It's the shock-absorbent option in the Fairway line — slip-resistant, waterproof, and built for golfers who want the most anti-fatigue feel under their feet during long practice sessions.

The Urethane backing is the go-to for driving ranges, outdoor practice areas, and golfers who want a lightweight, rollable mat that's easy to move between locations. Urethane is a durable coating rather than a foam layer — rainwater eventually seeps through rather than pooling, and the coating itself isn't damaged by weather. It's the most portable Fairway option and works especially well on rough outdoor surfaces where natural ground texture helps keep it in place.

Nylon Turf That Lasts

All Fairway Golf Mats use Nylon turf — not Poly. That difference matters for anyone practicing more than occasionally. Nylon is UV-resistant and weather resistant, which means the mat holds up through outdoor exposure season after season without the fading and breakdown that Poly mats show under regular sun and heat. It's also the reason the Fairway mat won't mark your clubs: Nylon has a higher melting point than Poly, so friction from repeated iron strikes doesn't transfer residue onto your clubface.

Every Fairway mat is made in Dalton, Georgia — the same American manufacturing that backs every All Turf mat in the lineup.

Sizes for Every Setup

Fairway mats are available from compact 1×2 hitting strips up to full 6×12 mats and square 5×5 station setups, with several sizes offering pre-punched rubber tee holes built into the mat. Whether you're fitting a mat into a corner of a golf simulator bay, setting up a dedicated hitting station, or just want something you can unroll in the driveway for a quick session, there's a Fairway size for it.
